Hello, world! You may remember that I previously wrote a blog post on what $100 got me during a Free People sale. There’s just something satisfying about knowing exactly how much you can get for your money’s worth. So, with that being said, I’m back with another installment of these blog posts. This time, we’re checking out Garage.
A month or two back, Garage had an online sale marking all tops 30% off. It was too good a deal not to take advantage of, so I spent $50 and made out with FIVE tops! Garage is a brand that’s very similar to Brandy Melville, and has that cute, easygoing girly style I love.
- Baby Tee, Pink Lady | $10.47
Top #1: I love that this super cute tee is just stating facts — no selfie control, ever. For $10.47 I scooped it up to wear on a casual day. I love the tongue-in-cheek phrase and the playfulness of it.
2. Long Sleeve Mesh Top, Black Stars | $7
Top #2: Eh? Eh? What do you think? Awkward posing aside, I really like this top. It’s unique and dare I say, rebellious looking, and I don’t have anything like it. For only $7, I’m willing to experiment with it. I’m still working out what to wear under it, but there’s potential.
3. Fuzzy Crop Sweater Tee, Bright White | $10.50
Top #3: This is a classic “Clueless” top isn’t it?! I love how 90s barbie it is. It’s fuzzy, it’s white, and it looks perfect with a little black mini skirt. This was just $10.50.
4. Off Shoulder Lettuce Edge Tee | $7
Top #4: Off-the-shoulder tops are all the rage now and this is a super trendy little top, perfect to pair with chokers. I’m a wee bit tentative about wearing it just because it is so clingy and figure hugging.
5. Boyfriend Sweatshirt | $17.50
Top #5: Finally my favorite top out of the whole haul, this super cute oversized sweatshirt in my favorite color (pink/blush). This was reduced from $34.95 to $17.50! It was already on sale. Such an amazing buy, and very my style. I don’t even mind that I had to get it in a Medium since Small was sold out.
And that’s it guys! My total was $52.47 with free shipping. The original value of all the clothing I purchased was $117.75 (some of the items were even more discounted since they were already on sale). How did I make out? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for reading this post, and tune in for the next installment if you enjoyed this.
